Tanzania (2025) 6/2/25

Leon Blanchette, Antonio Marshall, and Olivia White
$3300

This summer a ministry team from Olivet will serve the wonderful people of Tanzania for the tenth time.  Ministry in Tanzania is difficult but very rewarding. The people of Tanzania speak Swahili, and with the help of two Kenyans, the team will focus on pastoral, youth and children’s ministry training.  Truth be told, most of our time is spent building relationships with people. The team will travel to Dar es Salaam, a city of 98% Muslim, Arusha, and Mwanza. The people of Tanzania are incredibly welcoming, and you will find that you will leave a part of your heart there when you return home.  If you are passionate about sharing the love of Christ with others, up for many challenges including few comforts, and adventurous then this might be the ministry trip for you.  The team will be small and made up of seven to ten students and three leaders.
